Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the skills and abilities of teachers of art education in secondary schools and using them to produce and activate the role of teaching aids and what comes with it from devices that viewing it and advanced designing programs that contribute in the development of the educational process in schools, not only on the side of art education, but also in all other different educational materials.

The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method and used questionnaire as a tool for gathering information and the research community opinions collected which are teachers and art education students of higher schools in Khartoum state that contains seventy teachers as a test sample.

Major results: The lack of secondary schools teaching aids and the lack of places has a negative effect on the achievement for students.

Technical skills and capabilities are necessary for the work of teaching aids which increases the efficiency of its role in the teaching – learning process.

Modern teaching aids non-exist in secondary schools- Khartoum State.
