أثر توظيف استراتيجية KWL في تدريس الرياضيات على التفكير الإبداعي و التحصيل لدى طالبات الصف العاشر الأساسي في غزة

Abstract EN

This study was conducted in order to detect the effect of the employment of KWL strategy of teaching mathematics on the creative thinking skills and the academic achievement among the tenth-grade students in Gaza.

The two researchers used quasi-experimental method.

The sample was intentionally chosen.

The sample consisted of two classes of students in the tenth grade from Hashem Atta Al-Shawa secondary school (b) where one class presented the experimental group and the other presented the control group.

To achieve the objectives of the study the researchers prepared trigonometric KWL strategy.

A teacher guide has also been prepared for teaching the unit and for testing the creative thinking and another for educational attainment.

After five weeks of application; (25) teaching classes during the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016, the study results showed that there was a great effect of the KWL strategy of teaching trigonometry on the development of creative thinking skills and academic achievement of the tenth-grade students
