This research aims to study the Heat Characteristics of Al≠Medina Al≠Munawarah in KSA¨ to support urban planning and development by identifying the general heat direction by analyze annual and monthly temperature change¨ and identifying the Heat Islands for the period between 1985 ≠ 2010 ¨and compare the results using the values of standard deviations¨ skewenss and kurtosis Results indicated that the annual thermal change rate is positive by 0.056 m¨ and the value of R Ω 0.68 and the change rate for the maximum temperature is greater than in the minimum temperatureÆ The rate was 0.061 m for maximum temperature¨ and 0.039 m for minimum temperature¨ and R was equal to 0.63 and 0.56¨ respectivelyÆ The standard deviation¨ torsion and kurtosis were statistically significantÆThe study also produced a correlation between the maximum and minimum temperature degrees as a dependent variable¨ and the population density¨ the number of housing and electric power consumption as an independent variables¨ with a positive relationship average value of 0.65ÆThe analysis of daytime and nighttime thermal structure and satellite images pointed the presence of thermal bands at day and night in the central area of Al≠Medina around the Holy Mosque ©Alharam®Æ The Study also showed that the concept of heat islands is influenced by geomorphological phenomena¨ the nature of the surface and land use
