Water losse in Water Distribution Systems are one of the major issues affecting water utilities, not only in the developing countries but also in the developed ones.

It is a problem related directly to the cost of operation and maintenance of water distribution system and aims to save water.

This paper aims to apply a field study to identify water losses from the second island network in Dummar Middle, and to define its physical and non-physical components.

The purpose of this search also is the estimation of efficiency of the procedures and actions which had been taken by DAWSSA in 2005 to reduce water losses in Dummar area.
