Abstract EN
In this study, effect of using treated wastewater secondary effluent on the growth and yield of grapes was evaluated.
The wastewater quality assessment indicated that some parameters did not comply with Lebanese standards for crop irrigation.
Further studies should be conducted on the quality of crops irrigated using treated and raw wastewater to assess the risks on human health, soil and groundwater.
Results showed that the overall biomass increased in plants irrigated with wastewater and grape production per plant increased by 40%.
