Physical Education is one of the important institutions that supply the national teams and clubs with male and female players and they are regarded as foundation stone of mature teachers, so a teacher of physical education must be fit enough to apply the skills and activities that need physical qualities and a abilities to perform them well.
In a serious attempt, the researcher aims to study the effect of the practical side of fitness for developing female students in the second stage of the Faculty of Physical Education of Babylon to avoid weaknesses and stand on the standard of the students and develop appropriate solutions mechanism of acceptance in the future.
The research aims to identify the impact of the practical lessons on fitness for the students of the second stage in the Faculty of Physical Education, University of Babylon in 2014.
So, we have assumed that the practical lessons have an impact on the physical fitness of female students of research sample.
The researcher used the experimental method to solve the problem of the research.
The community and the research sample of female students was selected in the second stage of the Faculty of Physical Education whose number (9) students.
The researcher has used the appropriate tools and means to resolve the problem of research.
The standardized tests were selected as data for tests of classification and dimensionality, and the use of appropriate statistical processing and discuss the tables that have been obtained from Tests using statistical package (spss).
The researcher concluded that the practical lessons positively influenced in raising the fitness of the female students, and also concluded that the share practical methodology for lessons at this stage is not enough to raise the fitness as required and prepare students for the next stage, especially that most of the students are not engaged in physical activity in summer vacation.
The researcher has recommended that the need to increase the emphasis on fitness classes for the second stage of the Faculty of Physical Education as well as increasing outdoor activities and events and encourage students to participate in the external events which increases interest in the development of fitness for events.
