Abstract EN
As a result of the close and great link existing between the physical preparation and the skill preparation in football, it became necessary to consider the explosive power of speed, which is one of the special physical abilities that is affecting the success f the performance of the basic skills in football.
For emphasizing in the training sessions through performing different quick and repeated jumps, either with a ball or without it, are the best training methods to achieve the functional adaptation and getting speed level higher, which reflect the success in applying the different skills in football, including the defensive skills, as these skills are considered in the same training system with the speed power training on one hand.
On the other hand, the speed power is the one causes the continuity of the quick movement, going off, and going on more by the coaches, especially for the junior players.
The research aimed to identify the impact of the training syllabus on the body weight.
The research important lies the training, on the body weight and on the different quick and repeated jumps, leads to increase the level of the players physically and in their skills, especially, the defensive skills for the development of the explosive power of speed and some defensive skills in football.
The research used the experimental approach with the intentional method on 24 players in the training positions in football, for the ages 15-17.
The researcher concluded that the method of training for the explosive power of speed had achieved thrill and rush, which caused a clear development for the special physical abilities among the defenders in football for juniors.
