Organizational commitment and leadership are interrelated.

The study aimed to identify the relationship between leadership behaviors of head nurses and nurses' commitment.

Using descriptive correlational the study conducted at tertiary Hospital in Egypt.

Total of 391 nurses consisted of head nurses and staff nurses participated in this research.

The present study indicated that nurse's organizational commitment is linked with leadership behavior of their head nurses.

Particularly, in the behavior of enabling other to act, have the greatest impact on nurse' commitment to the organization.

While the behavior of encourage the heart have the lowest impact on nurse's commitment.

Based on this, the study recommended use of five key transformational leadership components to improve nurse's organizational commitment.
