Abstract EN

The research aimed to know the knowledge level of sheep owners in the scientific recommendations related to nutrition and productive and also in each axis of the following [ pre=vaccination, the knowledge , nutrition knowledge for antenatal period , nutrition knowledge of nutrition for the lactation period, eliagnosis of estrus and embryonic early death.] .

Also, to know the relation ship between knowledge level and some of the independent factors such as(age = sheep number, breeding year experience, participation in training courses ).

A questionnaire has been designed to achieve the objectives.

It include tow parts ; First: the independent factors mentioned above .the second: A test to measure knowledge level of sheep owner of 32 items distributed in two fields and four axes.

The results showed that 56% of the owners their knowled average degrees were medium in field of pr= vaccination , nutrition knowledge for antenatal period, diagnosis of early embryos death , while their knowledge level was low 54% in the field of lactation period knowledge.

The results found a significant correlation between knowled level with age, years of experience , training participation ,but non= significant correlation with total number of sheep.

The researcher recommended to in crease the owner awareness concerning sheep nutrition and productive .

Also, to increase the areas of grazing.
