Abstract EN

The aim of this paper is to diagnosis the impact of change process upon building competitive position.

In order to test the research hypothesis, sample of (14) banks were selected from (32) banks working at Dohuk Governate.

A theoretical background were forwarded and a questionnaire were conducted and distributed to (53) managers, assistant managers, and head of departments as a respondents for the research questionnaire aiming to collect the data concerning with research variables.

Research results showed that there were : 1.Positive correlations between change process and competitive position.

2.Impact for change process upon competitive position.

The study provided a number of recommendations focusing on enhancing the role of some strategies in achieving and sustaining the competitive position
