This research discusses the constructional activities of the Assyrian capitals in their new era (911-612B.C) in which the Assyrian state was not a mere military state, as some people believe, taking care of military attacks, killing and destroying.
On the contrary, may kings, especially during their new era, paid attention to the civilization sides and they achieved lots of constructional works such as building and renewing cities, mansions and temples.
They were kings in first place who got benefit from war advantages and slaves that they got from their military attacks.
The Assyrian royal texts are considered to be an important resource to study those activities
