Abstract EN

Several Constantine city districts are subjected to landslide hazards due to the combination of various natural factors like the climate, declination and geology as well as human activity.

This constitutes a big challenge for Constantine city because the districts affected by the landslide phenomenon are most central and vital for the city.

Among these districts, “Belwezdad”, “Kitouni” and “Kaidi” are typical examples of urban areas exposed to the dangers of landslides that require adequate intervention, creating an urban transformation, in order to re-stabilize their topographic location.
