Abstract EN
This paper presents the problem of Short-Circuit Faults (SCF) diagnosis in the stator of a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) equipped wind turbine.
The proposed methodology is based on the design of Luenberger observers for residuals generation, which they are used for SCF faults detection in the stator of a DFIG.
Then, based on the Concordia transform, the calculated residuals are transformed for making them very sensitive’s for SCFs.
For this reason, for any SCF in the real stator phases will made an abnormal changes in the residuals which indicate the faults occurrence real stator phases.
The effectiveness of the proposed strategy for fault detection and isolation is validated through simulation tests performed by different fault scenarios.
