Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the language of the poetic discourse of the Umayt poet (Al Baith Al Majashai) through dealing with three axes: The first is the transposition substitution which formulate on distinct graphic systems like metaphor and similarity.

The second is contextual transposition which build on the technique of compositional transposition such as the conversion of ranking shifts, accumulation of verbs and studying important methods of request which give the text semantic accumulation.

This will give the poet language vitality and renewability.

The last axis studied the most important phonetic and rhythmic variables in his poetry.
