The biography of the Companion of the Prophet Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) has a great position and a big importance as she was the nursemaid of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him).

Then, she has many recitations certificated to the Prophet.

Moreover, she's considered one of the forefront and elite women who created the history of Islamic nation.

Umm Ayman is one of Abyssinian captive woman that the Prophet inherited her from his mother after her mother died.

She married twice during her life and joined the Islam at the beginning of Islamic Call, then immigrated to both Abyssinia and Madina and witnessed the Day Allegiance and many incidences with Prophet.

She narrated several recitations certificated to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) and the Mother of Believers Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her).

That means she was a narrator and the Companions of the Prophet and their Followers heard from her many of recitations, even who narrated from her are reached us from many ways in same subject.

Thus, all her recitations are considered credible and she gave an image about the different life situations in her simple and obvious language.

The historians have been differed in time of Umm Ayman dead.

Some of them said that she died after the death of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) in five or six months, whereas other argued that she died after the martyrdom of the Khalifa Omar Ibn Al-Khatab in twenty days, that means in the beginning of Khelafat Othman Ibn Affan
