Al Saraqusti's book is regarded as one of the important books in Hadith.

It was preceded by scholars that wrote in that area, so, he followed their method of writing.

This was reflected in his book (Al Dala'il fi Gharib Al Hadith) which was well-known in Andalusia as well as an important reference in Hadith citation.

This study was intended to investigate the semantic issues in it.

This study discussed homonymy by drawing its scope as well as the other scholars' opinions.

It also discussed synonymy, antonymy, and inflection as well as the variation in cases and their effect in semantics and giving a short review on the topic; then reviewing the scholars' opinions on the different semantic topics.

It also discussed the utterances mentioned in Hadith as an evidence on these issues.

The semantic area is one of the important areas in Arabic language due to the nature of the language that cannot be understood without meaning.

This is the reason behind the great attention of our scholars in studying meaning.

Semantic was the center of attention and the source of several works like "Semantics" by Ahmed Mukhtar Umar and "Linguistics" by Ali Abdulwahid Wafi and other works that participated in enriching Arabic literature in this area.
