Reading is considered as one of the major keys to a multicultural world with its various trends and orientations, and it is the foundation on which all the other various language skills are built.

The Algerian School System has awarded a great consideration within all its phases to this essential activity, and granted it a fundamental importance in terms of methods and objectives, resources and timing.

In addition, this interest has been reinforced by the promotion of the reading activity in the recently adopted model of The Competency Based Approach throughout its two consecutive generations - (1 + 2) -.

This study intends to compare analytically the activity of reading in the first and second generation course books of the first year in the Primary School phase.

Abstract FRE

La lecture est considérée comme une des plus importantes clés pour accéder (approcher / comprendre) un monde multiculturel avec ses différentes tendances (orientations / évolutions), et elle est, aussi, la base sur laquelle (le fondement sur lequel / l’assise sur laquelle / le socle sur lequel) sont construites les différentes autres compétences langagières (linguistiques).

L’école Algérienne dans toutes ses étapes (phases / tous ses cycles – tous ses niveaux) a pris soin de cette activité essentielle, et lui a octroyé une importance fondamentale (extrême / essentielle) en termes de méthodes et d'objectifs, de moyens et de calendrier.

Et ce qui a renforcé (augmenté / accru) cet intérêt particulier, c’est la promotion de cette activité de lecture dans le modèle dernièrement adopté de l’Approche Par Les Compétences à travers ses deux générations – (1+2) Cette étude a pour objet une analyse comparative de cette activité de lecture dans les deux manuels de première et de deuxième génération de la classe de première année primaire.
