Abstract EN

In this paper, flexural analysis of ground square slab made of normal strength fibrous concrete subjected to central concentrated load is presented.

Two models were proposed for analysis, one without the effect of stress concentration due to punching circular area under the load and the other with consideration of such effect.

The proposed model is based on deriving moment-curvature relationship combined with the deflection behavior of the elastic plate.

The second model can predict reasonably the cracking load , ultimate load and the load-deflection relationship.

Comparison with the previous test data indicates that the ratio of test/ calculated ultimate load using model ( 1 ) is 2.48 and using Model ( 2 ) is 1.1.

The effect of important parameters affecting the load-deflection response of fibrous concrete ground slab were studied.
