Effects of road transportation on some hematobiochemical and biochemicals parameters of broiler chickens

To study the effect of road transportation on live body weight, and some haematological and biochemical parameters of broiler chicken at 49 days of age.

Results revealed that road transportation caused a significant increase (p<0.05) in body weight losses, Heterophil /Lymphocyte Ratio (H/L ratio), serum glucose, serum cholesterol and creatine kinase enzyme, while the effect on Paced cells volume (PCV%), Haemoglobin (Hb), serum total protein and serum triglycerides,was not significant .
