Tulipa systola Stapf.
is a monocotyledonous plant in the Liliaceae family, collected in Kurdistan Region-Iraq which is uses by Local people as a pain killer and wound healing.
In this study; antibacterial activity and phytochemical qualitative screening of ethanolic extracted from roots, leaves and flowers of Tulip were studied.
The results revealed that the ethanol extracts of Tulipa Systola exhibited strong antibacterial activity against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria’s.
