This paper aims to clarify the relationship between the definition and the concept to be conscious about the significance of sciences in general and the construction of grammar in particular.

Thus, we ask many questions that fall within the same scope as following: What is the nature of definition? What is the reason to produce definition? What is the definition of the concept? What is the role which can play the concept in constructing grammar? What is the relationship between the definition and the concept? Is there a unique and unified definition for one concept? Or are there various definitions for one concept? And if it is quite true, cannot we say that so many definitions sometimes lead to ambiguity? Such matters will be the subject of our study
