Abstract EN
The aim of this study was to evaluate the preparation program for special education teachers in king Saud university from the students point of view and to discover any differences in their opinion based on the differences on the cumulative average and the specific specialties.
The study used the descriptive method, 50 female students who underwent the final specialised extensive training course.
administrated a survey to evaluate the special education teaching preparation program.
Results showed that students were generally satisfied with the varieties of the evaluation systems “courses credits” that used by the staff.
They were less satisfied by the staff academic abilities and skills and the quality of the specialised extensive training course.
Moreover, students were not satisfied with the quality of the series of courses that were given in the program, especially their lack of the connection between theory and application.
Finally, implications and recommendations are suggested taking into consideration conducting further studies in which different samples, and different measures should be employed.
