like other humanistic group, the Algerian Popular Group realized the value of time in its variable dimensions through its dayto- day experiences in life.

These latter were crucial in shaping its perspectives and conceptions.

Time upgrades from a simple experience to a creative piece of literature.

This effect is shown through its Says and Proverbs.

Statement of the Problem How did the Algerian social awareness picture time through its literature experience,beliefs and behavior? And how was it expressed linguistically? And what were its indications,dimensions and nature? These afore mentioned queries will be discussed in this study through a chronological insight on Algerian Popular Proverbs.
