This article attempts to introduce a practical definition of media transparency needs to be adhered by media so that work can be described transparent.

Transparency is not only a slogan or a claim, it is a touchable reality that permits and enables "informed citizens" to establish their opinions and assist them judging the news facts and sources to the best possible image.

The study shows that media transparency is a practical concept that helps reporters of news-reports and televised news bulletins to make their reports and news bulletins in a clearer and more transparent way.

In addition, it helps them create "an open book" readable by all viewers away from media blackout, ambiguity, and confidentiality.

This study indicates that the above-mentioned concept of media transparency requires news information sources to be evident and clear, in both text and on screen, which makes media transparency, and for the first time in the Arab world, embedded with sound and image.

Having reviewed the concept of media transparency, journalists are no longer required to be "perfect" and avoid revealing their mistakes fearing they would be described with nonprofessionalism and ignorance.

However, they can reveal weakness points in the process of collecting information to be closer to the reality of journalism work and to be considered more transparent.

It is also no longer important to publish deterministic news information since practical and competition reality forces us to follow "relative principle of news reporting" in the absence of certain news information and without reducing the quality and credibility of the news.

In addition, official and unofficial news reporting are far away from logical evaluation and media accountability as they might be attached with adjectives and verbs to measure their credibility, away from defamation and losing rights, the matter that made news resources closer and more credible to reality.

This study will equip readers with a group of practical suggestions related to daily news work which will help journalists to be closer and more professional in the journalistic work.
