Abstract EN

The aim of this research was to examine the relationship between social intelligence levels and leadership styles.

The study was conducted with 202 administrators employed in the primary schools of Turkey.

The data collection instruments were administered to the school administrators who came from different parts of Turkey and attended the educational administrators’ meeting held in Gaziantep, Turkey.

For this study, “Leadership Styles” questionnaire developed by Günbayı (2005) and “Social Intelligence Scale” developed by Silvera et al.

(2001) were administered.

The data were analyzed using MANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis techniques.

In the study, significant relationships were found between some dimensions of social intelligences and leadership styles of the administrators.
