This article is not only about reviewing theses of Reception Theory in all its origins, principles and procedures, however it aims at clarifying the concept of the horizon of expectation - Center of the critical hypothesis in Jauss Project - and it is the procedure that Yaussen have changed the history of the classical literature, the history of literature and authors by a new history based on a successive reading.
