Abstract EN
This study aimed at identifying and pinpoint the efficiency of problem – solving approach in using teaching verbally problems/questions of Math subject in academic achievement for students of (2nd Grade) at primary education stage, at Khartoum State (Khartoum locality).
Experimental approach was used , and population of the study comprised of Math teachers of both gender, at Khartoum locality, for a number of (141) teachers of the said subject, and were selected randomly, consists of (68) teachers, and the tool of the study was a questionnaire being addressed to the said teachers.
The study conducted the following most important results: The using of problem-solving approach in teaching Math subject will boost and increase the efficiency of academic achievement for the pupils of the 2nd grade at primary education stage.
There was a difficulties faced the teachers of the Math subject in using the mentioned approach in solving the verbal questions/problems of the said subject, and also the pupils of the 2nd grade at primary education stage faced a difficulties in using the said approach, also the teachers of Math subject faced difficulties in using this approach.
There was a difficulties related Math curriculum of (2nd grade) in the primary education stage, regarding the solving Math questions.
Then the researcher recommended the most following suggestions: Using of problem solving approach will increase and enhance the efficiency of pupil`s academic achievement at the 2nd grade, in solving the problems of verbal answers in Math subject, and to train the teachers by using the modern means of teaching, also the study recommended by making a research on this regard , as to know and identify the difficulties that face the teachers of Math subject in solving the verbally questions problems, at primary education stage, and in others various classes.
