Commitment to media decision in principle to protect the consumer in the context of decades of consumption, but the Algerian legislature has come out for this asset in the context of an insurance contract, as it has made the commitment to information mutual commitment rests with each of the insurer and the insured.

In order to guarantee this, the legislature obliges the insurer to inform the insured about all the contract circumstances regardless of whether the laws which organize that contract have clearly indicated the commitment of the insurer to inform the insured or not, while it forgets to determine the punishment in case the insurer does not inform the insured and restricts it to the annulment conditions which are not pertinent.

Moreover, we notice that the legislature obliges the insured to inform and gives an important care to that commitment either while signing or fulfilling the contract.

it also identifies the punishment in case that commitment is not fulfilled distinguishing between the insured’s good or bad intentions.
