This article aims to understand and analyse the reality of the Russian energy security in the light of the current energetic challenges that facing Russia, concerning a large range of energetic challenges with internal dimension; including difficulties in terms of energy sources extraction.

As well as the lack in the needed Russian techniques to extract the sources concerned.

Besides to the external dimensions that affect the core of the Russian energy security; and that tied to the Russian energy dependency to the European energy market, along with the energy pipelines network that competing Russia, regardless the Russian energy supplies diversifying challenges into new global markets.
