English Abstract

Gaining Japanese Oil Conscession in the kingdom of Saudia Arabia, represents an important turning point in the Japanese- Saudi relations.

Those relations weren't coincindental, it had preceeded by several Japanese attempts, but the condititions which the Arab Gulf area had witnessed didn't help the Japanese in accessing their goals.

It was the refreshment and growth state that the Japanese industries had witnessed at a time, so it was an impulse to search for another markets to sell the production Surplus, therefore it oriented towards the Arab Gulf area where it found in it a vogue market.

But the conditions that Japan witnessed after its losing in the World War ll, which shed its shadows on the Japanese economy; and delayed all the activities including the commercial and the industrial ones that led to a huge loses.

But the insisting of Japanese on passing that ordeal, and the governmental processes of limiting the economic deterioration helped much in improving the Japanese economy.

The specialists in the industrial field recognized, that the success needs an obliged procedures, in the point of the bow comes getting a source of energy in the world.

Japan worked hard to gain this vital source.

So, the sights of the Japanese oriented towards the of kingdom Saudia Arabia, because of what the late process of a huge oil deposits which can make use of it actually; and after several attempts, the Japanese succeeded in optaining an oil privilege in it in spite of the existence of the American oil companies on the Saud territories.

That thing comes in parallel with the Saudian recognition of the great importance of Japan as an industrial state and of great economic ability, it doesn't have an opposed policy against Arabs, All those things were representing a strong impulse for the kingdom of Saudia Arabia to give Japan an important oil privilege on its territories, and that in turn participated in some way or another in supporting and improving their bilateral relations.
