Abstract EN

This paper deals with the technical -economic feasibility study for the establishment of olive oil processing project in the Erbil Governorate, where the application of the criteria used in the feasibility of the projects, the research found that: the simple rate of return of the project was (61.7%), and the project be able to recover the initial cost within a period of less two years.

Based on the criteria that take into account the value of money during the time, show the benefits costs ratio of proposed project at a discount rate (12%) was (1.31) US dollars.

The net present value at the same discount rate was (5,480,483) US dollars, and the internal rate of return for the project by using the discount rates (32%, 37%) up to (34.194%), when comparing this rate with the interest rate in the commercial banks (12%), it is clear that the project achieves a net capital return up to (34.194%), US dollars, which indicates that the economic feasibility of the project was profitable, and that the sensitivity analysis showed that the level of risk was lpw, as the increased costs by 10% and lower revenue in the same proportion did not significantly affect and kept on the feasibility of the project, indicating that the establishment of the manufacture of olive oil projects enjoying high profitability and low risk of a worthwhile and encouraging towards investment projects.
