Cardiac hydatid cyst with multiple organs involvement

A 17 years old female referred to radiology department with hepato–splenomegaly and a chest X–ray with multiple high dense masses with rounded outline.

Computerized Tomography scan done for the patient and showed multiple similar rounded masses in the liver, spleen and right lung of different size and single one in wall of left ventricle of the heart measuring 42 mm by 41 mm in diameter.

This report is the first case report from Iraq of cardiac hydatid cyst with multiple hydatid cysts of lung, liver and spleen
