Abstract EN

The study aimed to search for effective use of “Nan & Lili” the tutorial application on the IPad device (IPad) to teach the alphabet with students with intellectual disabilities.

“Nan & Lili” is an available application on Ipad, and it offers (provides) the letters with illustrative photos and how to use the letter in a word, whether it was at its first, middle, or its last, in addition to making the child practice on writing letters in a suitable voice to the child.

The study sample consisted of (3) pupils with intellectual disabilities in the first primary grade enrolled in the program of the intellectual education inside the primary school of “Al-Mazahmaya” and who are aged between (9-12), so the researcher has used the one study case represented in the (A-B-A) reversal design, and “Nan & Lili” application was used as an independent variable, and learning the alphabet letters as dependent variable.

The researchers have used the statistical methods to address the represented data in graphs and percentages to extract the results.

The results of the study and after discussing it in light of the theoretical framework and previous studies related to the subject of study showed the effectiveness of the use of the “Nan & Lili” the tutorial application on the IPad device (IPad) to teach the alphabet with students with intellectual disabilities.
