Abstract EN

The current study aimed at recognizing the level of knowledge learning difficulties teachers have about the concept of cooperative teaching, level of applying this concept and barriers which hinder the application of cooperative teaching in the intermediate and secondary levels.

The study used a descriptive method and sample of the study consisted of (50) teachers who teach students with learning difficulties in the intermediate and secondary levels in public schools in Riyadh.

A questionnaire developed by the researcher was used for as an instrument for data collection.

Results revealed that teachers in the intermediate and secondary levels have a high level of knowledge about cooperative teaching and basics of its application.

Results also revealed that level of applying cooperative teaching in learning difficulties programs in the intermediate and secondary levels was medium.

Results confirmed that level of barriers that hider applying cooperative teaching in learning difficulties programs in the intermediate and secondary levels was high
