This study aimed to know the attitudes of non-disabled students' mothers toward the inclusion of their children with disabled students in general education schools in Makkah.
The study used the descriptive analytical method.
The sample consisted of (338) of the non-disabled students' mothers.
An attitude scale toward inclusion - including (85) items distributed to nine fields - was used as a tool to achieve the study aims.
The results showed that the general characteristic of the mothers' attitudes toward the inclusion of their children with disabled students were positive with a mean (1.45), where the two fields of "the effects of inclusion on the non-disabled student" and "the inclusion effects on the parents of the disabled" got the highest mean (1.61), while the field of "types of inclusion and its benefits" got the lowest mean (1.14).
Results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences among the mothers' attitudes toward the inclusion of their children with disabled students due to the following variables: the educational level of the mother in all fields and in the general attitude except for the field of "the inclusion effects on the school", the age of the mother, the age of the disabled student, the type of disability in all fields and in the general attitude, and the severity of disability in all fields and on the total score except for the field of "types of inclusion and its benefits" and the field of "the inclusion effects on the academic (educational) side of the disabled".
The study recommended the following: preparing the school environment to fit the integrated students' needs, well-preparation of students with special needs, creating teachers for the inclusion process before its application, and creating the school community.
