The purpose of the present study was to examine the awareness level of learning disabilities signs among kindergarten teachers.
The participants were (391) kindergarten teachers who worked at public and privet kindergarten in Riyadh city.
A two parts survey questionnaire was used.
The first part includes items related to teachers’ personal and professional information, while the second part comprises (37) items about Learning Disabilities Signs organized around five Sections.
The results indicated that the awareness level of learning disabilities signs among kindergarten teachers was low.
Moreover, There is a statistically significant difference in the kindergarten teacher's level of awareness of learning difficulties signs in the social and emotional behavior.
In addition, results showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the kindergarten teacher's level of awareness of learning difficulties signs in language development, motor skills, cognitive development, attention, and social and emotional behavior according to the difference in qualification and years of experience.
Finally, there are no statistically significant differences in between teachers who have information about learning difficulties and those who do not have information .
