This paper aims at studying the cognitive structures and its dominanceon vandijk Textual analytical, because its active presence in the arguments and research in the field of text and discourse analysis.

In the beginning the paper deals with The concept of cognitive structures, and then move to show the aspects of domination cognitive dimension on vandijk Textual analytical.The research concluded that the cognitive structures had an active impact on the understanding of the text and its construction,so it has a mainly dominanceonthe construct of text grammar in one hand , and a critical discourse analysis from the other hand.
