Abstract EN
Algeria, via the diversity of its ecological and environmental situations, encloses a vast genetic culture of plants.
The identification, preservation and development of this heritage is now a critical for local socio-economic improvement.
The pre-saharian regions, particularly the wilaya of Biskra (south-eastern Algeria), is eminent by its agricultural areas and its extensive arboricultural resources.
Through the last decade, the apricot tree (Prunus armeniaca L.) has experienced a notable increase owing in part to the effects of the current climatic changes, promising an expansion of the crop.
Indeed, with the amplification of phoeniculture, certain varieties of apricot have exposed very encouraging results in terms of quantitative and qualitative yields and an excellent varietal adaptation to these particular ecosystems.
This has added a substantial development to the region.

L’Algérie par la diversité de ses milieux écologiques renferme un immense patrimoine génétique végétal ; l’identification, la préservation et la valorisation de ce patrimoine est actuellement une nécessité pour un développement socio-économique local.
Les régions présahariennes notamment la wilaya de Biskra (sud est algérien), se démarque par des superficies agricoles et des ressources arboricoles non négligeables.
L’abricotier (Prunus armeniaca L) a connu durant cette dernière décennie un essor notable dû en partie aux effets des changements climatiques actuels favorables à l'extension de la culture.
En effet, avec l'amplification de la phoéniciculture, certaines variétés d'abricotier ont révélé des résultats très encourageants en matière de rendements quantitative et qualitative et une excellente adaptation variétale à ces écosystèmes particuliers.
Ce qui a contribué d'avantage au développement marquant de la région.
