English Abstract

Due to the heinous crimes against human rights that are repeated frequently in many parts of the world, which is contrary to the rules of international humanitarian law, there was a need to deter and punish these criminals, through creating effective international and regional mechanisms of accountability.

This research which is entitled as "Mechanisms of accountability against violators of the rules of international humanitarian law” come to addresses this issue.

It has been divided into four topics : The first section talks about military intervention, the second section talks about the international human rights organizations, and the third section talks about the International Criminal Court while the fourth section addresses the regional mechanisms of accountability.

We concluded our research with a set of findings and recommendations.
