Algerian elites of the 19th and 20th centuries contributed some considerable efforts towards cultural renewal in very exceptional circumastances.
Omar Racim is ons of these elite members since he asked for Algerians’civil rights during French colonial rule over Algeria.
This article sheds interesting aspects about Racim’s nationalistic vision.
