Modern techniques of espionage and evesdropping on people’s communication have shown a threat to individual freedom and limited people’s notion of privacy.

This cannot be exclusively a moral problem only.

From the judicial point of view, the issue is similarly hihly sensitive.

The present article reviews how this problem is viewed in the Algerian juidical system.
