Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying the differences in youth attitudes towards political participation in the light of several variables for university youth such as: sex, college, place of residence, monthly income.

The sample of the study consists of (200) graduate students distributed on four scientific and human colleges.

Data was collected through a questionnaire including topics about political participation such as parties, participation in parliament, level of democracy, trust in public institutions, favorite political party.

A suitable statistical method has been used to deal with data.

The most important results of the study are the following: there are no significant statistical differences in youth attitudes towards trusting public institutions.

On the other hand, there is a significant differences in youth of Jordan attitudes towards paying attention in political life and being interested in it related to sex variable and towards participating in parliament elections, favorable party, youth evaluating for democracy level related to college variable, and towards favorite party related to place of residence variable and towards evaluation of party work related to monthly income variable.
