Abstract EN
The importance of the research lies in using modern mental training means for developing players during special preparation phase.
The problem of the research lies in answering the following question; can field mental training develop the speed of information processing in elite soccer players? The research aimed at identifying the effect of mental training on the speed of information processing according (VTS) in elite soccer players.
The researchers hypothesized statistical differences between pre and posttests in information processing speed.
The researchers use the descriptive method.
The subjects were elite soccer players.
The training program was applied on the subject then the data was collected and treated using SPSS.
Finally the researchers came up with a set of conclusions and recommendations.
