English Abstract

In the last decade, ERP systems have become a vital tool for organizations to achieve competitive advantage.

ERP helps integrate the different organizational systems and ensures effective and efficient operations and transactions by aligning together an organization’s strategy, structure and business processes.

Other types of businesses, such as higher education institutions and stock exchange markets, could potentially benefit from ERP systems implementation in their operations; however, the implementation of ERP systems in this kind of businesses seems to be a challenge.

Little research has been conducted to analyze the critical success factors regarding ERP implementation in these sectors.

This research project revolves around the following research question: which major critical success factors for implementing an ERP system in business match the major success factors stemming from a case study about ERP implementation of Casablanca Stock Exchange? At a second stage, the research will also identify other critical success factors for ERP implementation in this kind of institutions
