English Abstract

Know that heritage monuments whatever that human built cities and villages, neighborhoods, and buildings with the provisions of spaces and installations have historical or architectural value etc ..., and extended back to the later period.

And the Arab world heritage monuments strike in the obsolescence.

So it must be here to protect and preserve them from any damage that might be threatened, for it proceeded to governments intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations around the world in the development of standards for the maintenance and rehabilitation and monitored as well as large budgets to implement many of the projects in this context, and Yemen, among those countries that has pursued this method where the Government has implemented in cooperation with the Organization of (gtz) German project to protect and maintain the historical cities of Shibam and Zabid.

And at the level of govemmental bodies, the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums in Hadramout valley carried out the restoration project and the rehabilitation of (historical A1 Fals Fort, Cote d’ Nakher and (he house of writer, Ali Ahmed Bakathir).

The research aims to establish awareness of the importance of conserving heritage monuments, and seek to guide the preparation of the work of restoration and maintenance of the mud buildings, to be the method taken in the implementation of such projects.

It can be drawn from the set of results that revolved around the research, the most important ones are : - Paying attention to the maintenance of monuments of historic heritage.

- Draw the attention of those interested in mud building about the dangers that threaten them.

- Intensification of scientific research on treatments for development of local building materials.
