Abstract EN

The present paper attempts to discuss the mechanisms of the traditional linguistic research in the meaning of words considering the approach of the Arab scholars.

For this purpose, a book of one of the prominent linguists who studied and explored the meaning of words in the Holy Qu’ran within a particular semantic context, and to illustrate the differences in the meaning of words within the Qu’ranic context, and out of it.

This is what can be noticed in the books of Raghib el-Asfahani, mainly in his book “Words in the Unusual Qu’ran” subject of this paper
