English Abstract

This paper is to study the facilitations using agents' technology with achieving a high degree of user satisfaction about the search results within an internal local network (LAN).

Retrieving process includes mainly searching within internal local network e-documents without breaking through the documents' security and privileges, this retrieval process can also provide documents and content management that can be helpful in both classification and categorization purposes.

The requirements collected using questionnaire, some formal interviews with mar different users of the IUG internal local network in addition to some comparisons ma( to compare this study and the proposed system with other related works which has been done before.

The collected information and data has been analyzed then the resulted study and analysis include a design of search engine composed of four ma agents (Interface, Search, Collaborating and Indexing agents) and a development of just two of these agents (Interface and Search agents).
