English Abstract

This paper is studying the situation of the PNA (Palestine National Authority) government network and evaluates the problems facing this network.

The made analysis appoint that WiMax technology based on IEEE 802.16 standard is the most appropriate solution to connect the ministries of PNA in Gaza city to provide all the required services for the ministries including VoIP and Video conferencing.

Then a simulator was used to get the best design and configuration of that network taking into account the needs and requirements of GCC (government computer center) for this network
