Abstract EN

Compared with the general population, cancer risk in kidney transplant recipients is much higher.

In the present study, we report a patient who was diagnosed with posttransplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) and had a fulminant course, dying within few days of diagnosis.

This case report highlights the importance of timely detection and treatment of PTLD as it is associated with high mortality rate
