Abstract EN

The global financial crisis played a major role, in the worldwide increased interest in Islamic financial products, as an alternative to the conventional financial tools and products, perhaps the most important outcome of this crisis, is the emergence of the role of Islamic banks as institutions, which showed more stability and being less affected by the consequences of the global financial crisis.

Therefore many economic experts considered the Islamic financing procedures as the best solution to the financial crisis, that simply because of the factors that contributed to the financial crisis, and led to the bankruptcy of many conventional banks, are explicitly forbidden in Islamic financial practices.

Hence this papers to highlight the effectiveness and efficiency of the Islamic banking system as far as financial stability is concerned, even during global financial crisis
